Based in Columbia, South Carolina, CITY GRIT Hospitality Group currently owns and operates 3 of the city’s best restaurants, all of which are gratuity-free. For our work in our restaurants and our community, CITY GRIT Hospitality Group was named a 2023 James Beard Award Finalist for “Outstanding Restaurateur.”

CITY GRIT Hospitality Group exists to end poverty, increase food access to those suffering from both in our city, and provide top-notch hospitality to both our guests and employees.

Our restaurant concepts, catering & private dining experiences, and wholesale operations allows us to operate a Workforce Development Program for non-college bound youth from our city’s most impoverished neighborhoods, support the summer feeding programs in our community, and offer consistent and livable wages, leadership development, and upward mobility for all of our employees.
